I was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland in a multicultural background. My parents are both from Haiti, in the West Indies. My love for languages and new cultures has always gone hand in hand with a great interest in technology. I graduated in 2008 from the Faculté de Traduction et d’Interprétation de Genève, but I started working professionally in 2006 after an internship in a translation agency. During my curriculum in Geneva and Germersheim, Germany, I also discovered the technical aspects of translation.
I was a independant translator until 2011, then I worked two years in a translation agency. I’ve relaunched my freelance career part-time in 2014, while working in education. I’m a member of the ASTTI, the translators, terminologues and interpreters ‘association of Switzerland since 2013.
Fun fact: I really, really, really like tshirts! I have so many that I could survive more than two months without doing laundry.
